Last week, the Marmouthia area in the Negrine district reported a concerning number of dead turtle doves following an alert from a local farmer. A specialized committee, led by Negrine district head Ismaïl Moussa and including officials from agricultural, forestry, municipal health departments, and a veterinarian, conducted a field inspection. The team is currently working to evaluate the situation, identify the underlying causes of the mortality, and coordinate necessary actions to protect the local environment and maintain ecological balance.
