Béjaïa Hosts the 18th National Patriotic Song Festival

Béjaïa is currently hosting the 18th edition of the National Youth Patriotic Song Festival, held under the high patronage of the wali to coincide with the 72nd anniversary of the outbreak of the National Liberation Revolution. Running from October 29 to November 1 at the 'Abdelmalek-Bouguermouh' Regional Theatre, the event features nearly 400 young performers from 17 provinces. Centered on the theme 'Patriotic song… The voice of youth and the message of belonging,' the festival aims to anchor national identity within the younger generation. Officials and representatives from the Ministry of Youth and Sports highlighted the festival as a vital platform for cultural exchange, talent development, and the preservation of national history.
