The sector aims to gradually reach the two-million-housing goal, with 400,000 units expected to be distributed by the end of 2026. The budget also allocates funds for urban development, public facilities, and the creation of new cities. The Minister highlighted the sector's rising contribution to national GDP, driven by the use of locally sourced construction materials such as cement, steel, and ceramics.
