Since the start of the year, the wilaya of Constantine has connected 2,914 housing units to the natural gas network, with costs exceeding 11 billion centimes. The project includes 1,284 social housing units, 1,160 subsidized promotional housing units, and 470 AADL rental-purchase apartments. Managed by the distribution offices of Constantine and Ali Mendjeli, the operations involved extending gas pipelines over 11.7 kilometers. Additionally, the distribution companies are conducting awareness campaigns in industrial and commercial zones to encourage energy efficiency among high-consumption users.
