Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš visited the Algiers tramway operational unit in Bordj El Kiffan this Tuesday. He was received by the Minister of Transport, Said Sayoud, alongside the Minister of the Interior, Brahim Merad, and other officials. During the visit, the Czech delegation was briefed on the central control center's operations, focusing on traffic management and passenger safety protocols. The visitors also learned about the maintenance and management activities conducted by the 'Setram' company and toured the technical maintenance workshop. The visit concluded with a presentation of the 'Knowledge Carriage' initiative, which provides reading spaces within tram cars to encourage public cultural engagement.
